Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Bijavana — The Startup Forest (“Bijavana”, “we”, “us”) collects on this pre-launch website and how we use it. Bijavana is a public ecosystem product initiated and stewarded by VentureStudio. Right now the site’s only feature is a waitlist, so the scope below is deliberately narrow; we’ll update it as the platform opens.

Information we collect

What you give us. When you join the waitlist we collect the email address you enter, how you’d like to join (founder, supporter, or ecosystem enabler — incubator, accelerator, or lab), and — optionally — the name of your organization. That’s it. We don’t ask for anything else, and we don’t use tracking or advertising cookies.

Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and keep the service secure. We don’t use this to build advertising profiles.

How we use it

• To let you know when your grove opens and to send launch updates.
• To understand who’s interested so we can plan the rollout.
• To keep the waitlist free of spam and abuse.

We process your waitlist details on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your choices” below).

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run the site (for example, our database and hosting providers), under agreements that limit them to providing those services.
• VentureStudio, as the steward of Bijavana, for the purposes described in this policy.
• Legal reasons, if we’re required to by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until the platform opens and for a reasonable period afterward so we can invite you, then delete or anonymize them if you don’t go on to create an account. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message, or ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing fritzhands@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law; we’ll honor those requests.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Only the small amount of data described above is collected on this pre-launch site.

Children

Bijavana isn’t directed to children, and you shouldn’t join the waitlist if you are under the age required to consent to this kind of processing where you live.

Changes

We’ll update this policy as the platform grows — for example, when accounts, listings, and Seed Cards go live. When we make material changes we’ll revise the “last updated” date above.
